Alco

is a five member band from Lansing, Michigan currently writing and recording their first self-titled full length album due to be released in Summer 2011. With list of influences that includes Muse, Radiohead, Mute Math, and Coldplay, the band has defined a style that embraces ambient and high energy sounds. Alco has played with many bands including The Verve Pipe, Lovedrug, Just Surrender, June, Houston Calls, Damiera, The Hard Lessons, Kiros, and The Reign of Kindo at Michigan venues such as The Orbit Room in Grand Rapids, Michigan State University, Macs Bar in Lansing along with many festivals around the state such as WOstock and Festival of the Moon.

The Anatomy of a Dream

With their first professional EP "The Anatomy of a Dream" released on October 16th, 2008, Alco has showcased their increasing capacity and potential for highly meditated work. The EP was recorded by Chris Wood and mastered with Glenn Brown, who has worked with names such as Eminem, Kid Rock, and Ted Nugent.
